Boyle Development Task Force was created in response to recent job losses and to the perceived decline in the areas of inward investment, new job creation, investment in infrastructure and tourism in the Boyle area.

The Task Force management committee is comprised of representatives from Local Government, Business Organisations, Statutary Funding Organisations, Tourism Organisations and Local Politicians.

The objectives of the Task Force are to improve the town's local economy by implementing projects which create employment, improve the quality of life for Boyle residents, promote the town to tourists, encourage investment in tourist infrastructure and implement the Boyle Marketing Strategy.
